Biblioscape 3.7 is available for download (update patch, full installation). The major enhancement for version 3.7 is the speed increase for folder opening, searching by 100-150%.

• For the SQL query, only a subset of fields in table bib is selected, this increase performance for folder opening, search result display, etc. by 100%-150%.
• Query is no longer prepared manually, this saves system resources.
• The main data grid is replaced. The new grid supports data field grouping.
• The data grid customization method is changed. bib_view*.txt files are no longer needed.
• The limit on text size in document field is significantly increased.
• Biblioscape now works under Windows 2000.
• When create bi-directional link between records, "Is " is added before link type for reverse direction. For example, if the link type is "Cited", the link type for reverse direction will be "Is Cited".
• For Title fields, if the last character is "?", "!", or ".", the first character in the after field text will be removed. This can prevent cases like "....title...?.".
• New import filter for "FirstSearch -- PsycINFO", "OVID -- CINAHL", "NAL -- AGRICOLA", "SIRSI -- WebCat", "CARL -- CARLweb"

New Import Filters and Styles Available
We update Biblioscape import filter library and style library regularly. If you have a data source that is not included in our import filter library. Please send email to support@biblioscape.com for help. Supply us some sample output files or give us a temporary account, we will make import filters for you free of charge.

The following import filters are recently added:
SIRSI -- WebCat | download | example 
This import filter can be used for all "SIRSI -- WebCat" powered library system. It includes hundreds of libraries all over the world. Click here to see a list.

CARL -- CARLweb | download | example 
This import filter can be used for all "CARL -- CARLweb" powered library system. It includes a large number of libraries all over the world. Click here to see a list.

NAL -- AGRICOLA | download | example
Free access to the AGRICOLA database hosted by National Agriculture Library.
