Biblioscape 3.5 is released. Click here to download the update patch. In 3.5 user can display the relationship among bibliographic records in a tree structure. Records are linked by common keyword, author, journal, etc. Click here to see a screen shot.

New Import Filters Available
We update Biblioscape import filter library regularly. If you have a data source that is not included in our import filter library. Please send email to support@biblioscape.com for help. Supply us some sample output files or give us a temporary account, we will make import filters for you free of charge.

The following import filters are recently added:
APA (for journal article only) | download | example

(Updated so the URL field will be automatically filled during import.)

New Style for Printing
Biblioscape menu command "File | Print" will print records using the current Style selected on main window. For users who want to print more data fields, you should edit the selected style. Click here to download a modified style called "Biblioscape" for printing more data fields.

DEVELOPMENT

In the next couple of months, we will concentrate our development efforts in the area of dynamic web publishing. BiblioWeb.exe will be re-written to increase performance and add new features. If you have feature requests or other suggestions, please email us at support@biblioscape.com

BUG FIX

7/8/1999
1. Import module does not recognize tag when there are more than one leading blank space. This only happens when the reference type of current record is different from previous one.

7/11/1999
1. "Copy Formatted" and "Print" only copy or print one record even multiple records are selected. This only happens when preview pane is shown and formatted preview is selected.

7/14/1999
1. In "Advanced Search", if there is no item selected in search list box and user click "Edit" button, it gives "List of of bound..." error.

7/22/1999
1. If database is not successfully opened, Biblioscape can not open another database successfuly in the same session. A "table_match_words not found" error appears.
2. When database is not opened successfully, sometimes the view configuration file "bibView_*.txt" got corrupted.

7/23/1999
1. If user choose to check for duplicate while importing, only the number of skipped duplcates are reported. Now the skipped records will be shown in the error box.
