Executing SQL
Commands SQL stands for "Structured Query Language". It is the common language supported by all major relational database systems. Biblioscape allows you to execute any SQL command on any table. It is very important to learn SQL before you try any command on Biblioscape tables. SQL is a powerful tool, and it should only be used by the experienced user. So, always back up your tables before executing commands that you are not sure about. It is, however, safe to experiment with the SQL SELECT command. |
