The following import
filters are for Biblioscape version 6 and later releases. Click here to learn more
about import filters and how to use them. Click here
to download a detailed tutorial explaining how to create import filters step
by step. The tutorial is created by Ian Welton and shared with fellow
Biblioscape users. To
download an import filter, click the right mouse button and select
"Save Target As...". Select "All Files" for the
"Save as type:" combo box. Change the file extension from *.htm to
*.bif.
Biblioscape
uses import filters to import references from different
sources. Different information providers use different tag
names for the same data. For example, there are several
formats for the Medline database. You need a different import
filter for each format. Biblioscape comes with an import
filter editor, so that you can create new import filters when
needed. We encourage users to share their import filters with
others by posting them on the Biblioscape User
Forum. If you have difficulty
creating an import filter for a new data source, please contact
us by email. We can make one
for you free of charge.
To import
