The following article refers to Biblioscape 3.x. If you have Biblioscape 5, you can still uses ASP. But you need to purchase Biblioscape 5 ODBC driver and create ASP pages yourself.
For users who purchased Biblioscape Pro edition, we provide these ASP pages for free. These ASP pages let you post Biblioscape database on the Web for searching and browsing. Compared to the CGI publishing in the Pro edition, it is slower and also does not let you do one-line search via a web browser.
1. Important! You need to install the latest ODBC driver for Paradox and set up a DSN pointing to your Biblioscape database. Click here for instructions.
2. Click here to download the ASP pages. Create a new directory called "biblioweb_asp" under your web server root. For example, if you use Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) or Personal Web Server (PWS), it is "c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\biblioweb_asp". Unzip the downloaded ASP pages to this directory.
3. To test it in your browser, enter URL "http://127.0.0.1/biblioweb_asp/home.asp"
