Biblioscape import filter is quite powerful. In the following example, you will learn how to change text from all capital case to title case during importing. Some data source output the title, authors, etc. in all capital case, by modifying the import filter editor, you can let Biblioscape do the case change during importing.
1. Go to menu "File | Define Import Filters...", select the import filter you want to change and click "Edit" button on the left.
2. Click "Replace or Remove" tab. In order to limit the changes to title field, you can either type in the title tag "TI-" into the box or select "Title" from combo box "Available Field" and click the arrow button. Then select "Title case" from combo box "Change case to:". Click the "+" button to add it to the operation list. You can follow the same procedure for other fields. After finished, click "OK" button to save the changes.
Note: You can follow the same procedure to change text during import. For example, if you want to get rid of certain garbage characters in title field during importing. You can put the garbage characters in the "Find what" box, and leave the "Replace with" box blank.
